About me

I'm a full-stack software designer and principal engineer at DataEQ (formerly BrandsEye), where we analyse social media for regulatory risk and customer service opportunities for our clients. My work focuses on distributed systems, although I do a lot of front-end work as well.

I've also spent a lot of time in academia. My research MSc was in computer science and focused on using computer graphics and statistics in palaeoanthropology. In the late noughts I also worked on an unfinished PhD, focusing on the procedural generation of 3D geometry. You can read more about my post-graduate work on the research page.
