About me

I'm a principal engineer at DataEQ (formerly BrandsEye), where we analyse social media for regulatory risk and customer service opportunities for our clients. My work focuses on distributed systems, although I do a lot of front-end work as well.

I've also spent a lot of time in academia. My research MSc was in computer science and focused on using computer graphics and statistics in palaeoanthropology. In the late noughts I also worked on an unfinished PhD, focusing on the procedural generation of 3D geometry. You can read more about my academic work on the research page.
